TEARFUL Kate Price has revealed how she was raped repeatedly during her rise to fame.

The glamour girl, 31, lifted the lid on her secret torment after her cage-fighter lover Alex Reid was accused of glorifying rape in a new movie.

Angry Kate, alias Jordan, said the subject of rape was “very close to my heart” and described it as a “sick” subject for a film. She added:

“I was appalled by the headlines claiming he [Alex] has taken part in something which glorifies rape.

“This is completely untrue. Rape is a subject very close to my heart. I was raped when I was younger, more than once.

“Needless to say, I’d never be associated with anything or anyone so sick.” The model claimed someone close to Alex had also been raped in the past and that he would never willingly promote any sexual assault.

She added: “I’ve never talked about this before but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by these accusations that I would not take seriously a subject which affects so many women.

“Someone who was close to Alex was also raped and he is as horrified as I am by these claims.”

Kate did not go into any further detail about the circumstances of the attacks and last night her spokesman refused to elaborate on the incidents.

Alex, 34, was reportedly furious when pictures of one of his movie scenes emerged last week, and he threatened legal action.

The images from the film Killer Bitch show him half-naked and bent over a woman who is wearing only underwear. He appears aggressive and domineering.

Alex claimed the images were shown completely out of context, giving the impression the film was porno- graphic. His spokesman said: “Killer Bitch isn’t a porn film – it’s a gangster movie in which Alex is the main character.”

Kate has been dating Alex for the last six weeks following her split from hus- band Peter Andre, 36.

And she made sure she told her fans how well things are going between them.

In her column in OK! magazine, Kate said: “I’m so happy at the moment. Alex and me are really strong.

“There’s been a lot of rubbish written about his new gangster movie, peo- ple saying it’s porn.

“He’s acting. He didn’t have sex. He had his  pants on.

“I urge any woman who has been affected by rape and needs help to talk to somebody they trust  about it.”

It is not the first time the model has spoken out about her problems when she was younger.

In a TV interview with Piers Morgan, 44, Kate told how she had been sexually assaulted by a stranger  in a park when she was  just six.

Meanwhile, Alex’s mum yesterday revealed that Kate was “absolutely charming” when she met her for the first time.

The model was invited round to the cage-fighter’s parents’ home for a barbe- cue over the bank holiday weekend.

Alex’s mum Carol, 69, who laid on a big lunch  in the garden of her home in Aldershot, Hants, said the day was “truly lovely and so was the company”.
