PRINCE William has thrown his weight behind a Football League bid to raise millions for British Armed Forces.

Wills, 27, is backing the Football For Heroes campaign, which will see all 72 clubs take part in fundraising for squaddies.

The goal of the money-making drive this weekend is to raise cash for Help For Heroes, a Forces’ charity.

The Prince said it was “a superb way of getting behind” the Services.
