DRIVER STOPPED BUS TO PRAY

A MUSLIM bus driver stunned passengers by stopping his vehicle, taking off his shoes and praying in the aisle.


Passenger Gayle Griffiths, 33, complained to Transport for London about the incident on the No 24 bus in Gospel Oak.

She said: “I thought it might be a terrorist attack because I heard suicide bombers prayed beforehand.”

TfL has reminded drivers to pray during their breaks.
