DAME Cleo Laine, 82, was praised for her “incredible bravery” after she went ahead with a concert following the death of her husband, jazz legend Sir John Dankworth.


The event marked the 40th anniversary of an entertainment venue the couple set up at their home in Buckinghamshire. Sir John, 82, died in a London hospital on Saturday.
