The pair have buried the hatchet enough to chat daily on the phone.
It comes after the glamour babe apologised for her wild behaviour and constant outbursts since their split.
And relations have thawed now that she is determined to win back her ex-hubby.
This can only be good for the kids.
It is easy to forget that among all the public bickering three young children are involved.
No amount of shielding from the rows can stop the animosity affecting the couple’s youngsters in some way.
Junior, Princess Tiaámii and Pete’s adopted son Harvey must all miss having both parents under the same roof.
A constantly warring mum and dad will only make things worse.
Let’s hope Kate and Pete continue to mend their fractured world.
Even if they can’t rekindle the flame, they should do it for the youngsters.
