KATE Price was last night blasted for childishly getting her best pal to dump cage-fighter Alex Reid.

The cold-hearted beauty rubbed salt into the bruiser’s wounds by getting Michelle Heaton to do her dirty work.

The former Liberty X star, 30, called Alex and told him: “She’s not over Pete, you know that.”

And although Alex, right, dashed to Australia to propose, she refused to see him.

Last night he said he had been left looking like a “mug”. He also told pals: “My friends warned me from the start that I
would end up being hurt, I should have listened.”

Alex’s mum Carol Reid, 69, blasted Kate, saying: “I watched the TV last night and it seemed very cruel the way she spoke about Alex.

“He really loved her and this is how he gets treated by her.” A spokesman for Alex denied he had tried to see Kate and said he was in the country “on business”.

And a pal of the glamour model insisted she had not asked anyone to dump Alex for her.
