CHEEKY Jack P Shepherd proves he is game for a laugh as he dons a tutu and pink tights.

Fans are used to seeing the 21-year-old scowling as he plays devilish David Platt.

But he was happy to play the clown as he joined co-stars to help raise money for the Genesis Appeal in Manchester.

The charity is dedicated to preventing breast cancer and the actors stepped out in tribute to crew member Therese Meek, who died this year after a long battle with the disease.

Jack was joined by Alison King, 36 (Carla Connor), who nearly lost her head in a magic trick.

And sex kitten Helen Flanagan, 19 (Rosie Webster), also volunteered to go up on stage at the Radisson hotel, Manchester.

A show insider said: “The cast are extremely busy at the moment but were happy to help when Genesis asked them.

“Breast cancer has affected many of the cast and they wanted to do all they could to help such a worthy cause.”
