HARVEY TELLS PETE: I LOVE YOU

DAILY STAR SUNDAY

A HEART-WRENCHING scene in which Jordan's son Harvey tells Peter Andre 'I love you dad' has been deleted from his new music video.

The emotional singer says Unconditional – which he penned for the seven-year-old - means more to him than any other track he's written.

But the touching moment, in the last three seconds of the video, has been deleted and can't be shown on TV because of an arrangement with ex-wife Katie Price.

Speaking exclusively to new! Magazine, Peter revealed: "At the very end Harvey says something to me. I thought it was one of the nicest things.

"The ending is so good but unfortunately we can’t show it on TV and I just have to respect that.”

He added: "Unconditional is a song for any step parent in the world who understands what it’s like to have unconditional love for their step kids. And there are a lot of step parents who will understand that.

“It’s really a thank you song for Harvey because he taught me to become a father before I was a dad. I thought it was a really nice concept and it means a lot to me.”

He added: “We were never going to use Harvey the whole way through the video. I didn’t want to over do it.

“We filmed it in the biggest cinema in the world, which is now derelict, with a six-voice gospel choir. We were going to have 40, but we wanted to keep it simple because it’s really about the words."

The new! columnist says Harvey already knows it’s his song’, but Pete hopes that one day it will mean more to his step-son.

He added : “Harvey loves it, he knows it’s Harvey’s song but I hope one day he will realise it’s for him and more than just a song that he likes to sing.

"The words are simple but it’s an emotional song for me so it means so much.”
