BROWN 'APPLAUDS' MINAJ FOR RAP SUCCESS

FOXY BROWN has dismissed rumours she's feuding with rap rival NICKI MINAJ, insisting she "applauds" the the hip-hop newcomer's work.

The Candy star, real name Inga Marchand, was alleged to have launched a bitter verbal attack against Minaj during a concert in New York on Sunday (25Jul10), but Brown is adamant the claims are false because she's actually a fan of Lil Wayne's protegee.

And Brown insists she supports any female MC who's successfully holding her ground in the male-dominated rap industry.

She tells MTV News, "What's funny (is), I actually applaud Nicki for it (her success). I think she's doing an incredible job of branding herself. When you're a boss b***h, you give it up.

"If you're winning, you're wining. That's just how I see it."
